Kong looks like bigfoot

That a bad thing, I kind of expected him to look more like the Toho Kong since they're doing Godzilla vs Kong

*thats not a bad thing. Damn my bad grammar

He does have that creepy Bigfoot silhouette in the sunset shots. It made me think of the Boggy Creek poster.

They are eating the guests, sir.

That looks creepy as fudge,
director must had that poster in his subconscious before he did that shoot we've seen in trailer.

I like Kong having a Bigfoot design.

What's it like meeting Bigfoot?

Well, he may seem a bit off-putting at first, but when you get to know him, you'll find he's quite a jovial fellow.

His wife's kind of a bitch, though.

The Toho Kong costume was hideously designed, so it would be foolish to even try and copy it simply because of a new crossover.

Kong is an unknown species of ape. The 2005 remake depicts him as simply a large gorilla, but I don't think he can really be labelled as such.

I noticed that too, I even started an original thread a while back pointing out the similarity to a Boggy Creek poster.
