Not sure if this is true or not but actor Brandon Davis posted an early review saying best movie of the year. However he said no dinosaurs and no references to Godzilla. If this is true that would be so stupid to not include Dinosaurs in this movie it's Skull Island.

The trailer already revealed a skull of a triceratops. Of course, we don't know if dinosaurs became extinct on that island or not, or perhaps the dinos may have evolved differently, but with all of these rumors suddenly swirling around, this is another one I do not take at face value.
It's likely all dinosaurs have mutated. We do know there are many more creatures on that island (this was also confirmed by that same dude).

There are no dinosaurs on the island that we know of, but maybe there are other kinds that we don't know of? Basically, undiscovered species of dinosaurs, just like Kong is apparently an undiscovered species of ape.

I read that while he's not fighting dinosaurs, he will indeed battle against some monsters. What kind of monsters, though, I do not know.
