the new tv spot highlights so many things for me about the film.

Two favourite movies of mine - King Kong 1933 and the big lebowski!! With the new tv spot playing bad moon rising - by lebowski's fav band CCR plus Goodman is in it who played Walter who fought in Vietnam!! I mean. I'm stuck to my seat aha.

Plus bad moon rising has a link to another damn fine monster movie - American werewolf in London!

I dunno. This film, for me, seems to have struck gold with an awesome tone!! Absol loving it so far!!

I thought I read somewhere of this theory that The Big Lebowski, King Kong (1976) and Kong: Skull Island are all connected. Something to do with Goodman and Bridges both being in Kong films. And how Walter always talks about Vietnam, and now we get to see Goodman in a Vietnam-like setting. Also, how Jeff Bridges' experiences in Kong '76 left him psychologically "neutered", and we see something similar to that in Lebowski.

It's been a while since I read it, but I had a good chuckle.

Christ yes how could I not have mentioned bridges in the 76 one!! Amazing!! Dunno why it just feels even more special to me now, am I drunk?! Aha

I agree, the Lebowski connections make this even more enjoyable than it already was :)

I'm loving the whole feeling of the movie. Absolute carnage. Really does feel they have entered his domain and are really not welcome with their machines and guns! Upset established order...and everything becomes chaos!! Yas!!
