A24 is doing so well right now
Spring Breakers, Ex Machina, Room, Amy, this year The Lobster and Swiss Army Man... I have no doubts that this will be good. I trust A24 to put out great films.

shareThey also had Green Room
This year as well
Into the Forest, Free Fire, Sea of Trees (Still intrested despite terrible reviews)
My top 5 narrative films from true indie distributors this year:
1. The Lobster (A24)
2. Green Room (A24)
3. American Honey (A24)
4. The Witch (A24)
5. Southside With You (Roadside)
There are 8 major indie distributors (IFC, Magnolia, Broad Green, Bleeker Street, Music Box, Cohen Media being the others). For one of them to have anyone's four favorite indie films is almost silly. For an indie to have three of someone's top 6 film period, as they happen to be, is even crazier.
And I'm seeing Moonlight early next week. Look out, too, for 20th Century Women from Mike Mills (Beginners). And I've yet to see Krisha.
Let me add to the list of great titles they've put out since they started in 2012: Ginger & Rosa (amazing performance from Elle Fanning), The Spectacular Now, Obvious Child, A Most Violent Year (probably the best film yet to be mentioned), While We're Young, The End of the Tour.
The A24 principal with a film background, David Fenkel, used to be at Oscilloscope, and they've had a much less impressive slate since he left. I suspect he may be the guy with terrific taste.
Prepare your minds for a new scale of physical, scientific values, gentlemen.share
