Lara Pulver
The only reason why i will be watching this movie. That woman is beyond sexy.
shareShe was one wicked vampire queen! And she had more costumes!
shareLara Pulver’s Semira is the most engaging character by far. (You may remember her as Irene Adler from Sherlock, wherein the big twist is that Sherlock Holmes is actually a lousy detective but a wonderful psychic!) She’s so cunning & fed up with the stodgy vampire patriarchy that I was rooting for her schemes to succeed. She makes a former King Arthur to go down on her like a boss! https://mattthecatania.wordpress.com/2017/01/12/does-underworld-blood-wars-underwhelm/
I'm almost clever! https://mattthecatania.wordpress.com
Lara was very good in this film. she made a great villain and i loved her fight sequence with David. it was totally badass!
sharehehe, no wonder a woman director made this movie - Lara's character was just oozing that girl power and goth misandrist scent, which made her deadly to all the males around her, except her sex slave boy toy Varga who was going down on her like a well trained puppy dog lol...in fact, every female in this flick seemed to be much more intelligent and powerful than any male counterpart, which once again showed Hollywood's current trend of sissy catering towards radical feminists and their deep resentment of all men. This current role reversal trend in action movies seems to be really getting out of hand and needs to be toned down before it becomes truly ridiculous and laughable...
shareLOL, why are you misogynists so butthurt over every portrayal of women that doesn't involve them being lapdogs to men? It's as if the minute a woman has goals outside of the men in her environment and the skills and drive to reach them, she's suddenly a tool for feminism.
Your egos are truly as fragile as they say.
Anybody else think her face is similar to Jodie Foster's? Is it just me? When I saw her in the trailer, I thought it was Jodie Foster, and I thought gee, they're really classing up these Underworld movies.
shareYes, she looks very much like Foster.

Bingo. I didn't know why I find her so beautiful. Now I know.
shareIt wasn't the only reason for me. But she's beyond gorgeous and a total vampire queen in this movie. I loved her character.
shareShe was great and Semira is the best villain in the series since Viktor. My head canon is that she wasn't killed by the sword through the back of the head move (just like it didn't kill Viktor) and that she was going to show up in the next movie had it been made.
