This is like Speed, or Phone Booth
In Speed, if the bus goes slower than 55mph, it will explode and kill everyone on it. In Phone Booth, the killer warned Stu that he would be shot dead if he hangs up the phone. This is creepy as hell, as it is a supernatural entity causing all these kids to die, one by one by threatening them with death if they disconnect from chat.
