Was the Berber guy real or not ?
??
shareI'd say it's a mirage.
shareThis movie was very confusing.
I think the cute little kid was a ghost but the dad was real.
I usually like war movies, but this was sort of dumb.
Wouldn’t a U.S. Marine sniper team have taken that shot?
Easy shot, blow his wig off and book out to the friendlies.
The Military didn’t realize the area was sprinkled with landmines ?!?
Seriously? That’s a pretty huge tactical concern. A high level murder assignment does not have basic intel? wtf?!?
Honestly, that was a super easy shot.
Despite what he endured that Marine is going to be in big trouble.
Just watched it last night.
First, the Berber man was real, his daughter was a ghost/mirage.
Second, Berbers can be found across North Africa (Libya, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt primarily) …so this movie must be portraying a mythical event during the Libyan Civil War. Keep in mind that outside of USAF involvement there were officially no US ground troops sent to Libya during that time.
I agree that the movie was disjointed and confusing, along with being unrealistic.
