Guilty Pleasure Escape Movie. I loved it!

I was not sure what to expect heading into the movie but was pleasantly surprised. It was like Before Sunrise meets Lost in Translation on ecstasy. The two leads had incredible chemistry and was charming enough to keep my interest. I did like the bubbly dreamy melodic pop songs and the neon drenched background of Hong Kong at night. Bryan Greenberg was really handsome and had a je ne se qua about him & Jamie Chung showed some acting pep that I would like to see more of. I really liked these two together and was not surprised to find out these two got recently married last year in the fall. Hope to see more of them and I look forward to the directors next movie. All in all a very likable movie that I would recommend watching on a nice lazy Sunday afternoon.

They got married irl?? That's so cool!

I loved the songs too! The energy and electricity of Hong Kong at night really drew you in and that city is so crowded! I really want to go to HK now. 😃

The whole film really transported me away. Yes, it was not especially meaningful but I thoroughly enjoyed it, except for the end of course!
