Part of what makes it so funny is that they obviously do know he's hitting the button.

I had to watch that twice because the reaction on Jude Law's face was priceless. I love it every time he presses that button!

So far this scene has cracked me up the most. Not sure if the script called for Jude Law to crack up the way he did. For me it was knee-jerk as I reacted exactly the same way.
