I have checked the comments and couldn't find anything about what is going on between them. Is Voiello really infatuated with her, or is he just running another scam in order to hurt Lenny? I can't make heads or tails of what is going on between them.

On another note, I am deeply saddened by the boards closing. I have found a viable replacement at www.themoviedb.org.

TMDb is the one viable alternative because a message board has already been created for every movie, show, and person. Just search for the movie or tv show and then looks for the "Discussions" icon. Nearly all their boards are empty right now because the message board feature was just reinstated, but any of you can be the first to post on it.

I actually thinks he genuinely likes her and it is not a part of a scheme (not everything he does, is).

I'm thinking that as well. I'll be interested to see how this relationship develops next season. Voiello is actually one of my favorite characters.

Mine, too. I love the little speech he gives to Girolamo in episode 4.

Me too! It was so beautiful. I also loved the speech Spencer gave to Lenny about the second calling. Really an eye-opening speech about the crisis of faith many priests have.

It is moments like that, that I am actually sad that my Italian is crap, it is a beautiful language and I like that they have bits of it in the production 😃

I grew up listening to Italian from my mothers side of the family. It is a beautiful language and I wish my Grandmother (Nani) were still alive so I could hear it again around the house. I never appreciated it when I was younger.

I loved visiting Italy and loved hearing the language, Pandora78. Even listening to an Italian accent as when visiting Italy as they all speak English so well and bend over backward to make you feel welcome in their country. I can only speak two languages well and a bit of Spanish. I envy Europeans that they have so much exposure to so many other languages and proximity to have the chance to be able to practice it.

I think Voiello recalls the Pope's words to Esther on how priests are cowards and not capable of love or afraid to love. He was quite taken with them and gave him some perspective. Didn't he repeat those words to Sister Mary at some point? There is nothing wrong with Voiello for having deep feelings for Sister Mary. In fact, I think it is beautiful. At their age, love is on another dimension and it's beautiful to see the series explore that. This brings us to Lenny's love letters about love lost and love found.

And I love this series!

Yes he did. I think that scene really opened his eyes regarding Lenny.
Yeah the show is definitely love found for me 😄

There is nothing wrong with Voiello for having deep feelings for Sister Mary. In fact, I think it is beautiful. At their age, love is on another dimension and it's beautiful to see the series explore that.

I agree with you on this. Because of their committment to God, it is more of an emotional relationship instead of a physical one, which can be so much deeper. It is amazing to see Voiello change over the last few episodes. He is definitely coming around to Lenny and even beginning to like him.

Great QUESTION Pandora!!!

Since LENNY told MARY to SPY on VOIELLO for him, what may be going on is VOIELLO is attempting to SEDUCE her as a way to throw her OFF BALANCE or try to get rid of her.

Heaven knows it can't be very PLEASANT having someone STALKING YOU around the way she's doing now at LENNY'S REQUEST.

But one also gets the impression she's way too CLEVER to EVER fall for his TRICKS and what may be his FALSE FLATTERY???

But she was also MOVED by the way that he cares for the DISABLED boy.

And she's also HELPED VIOELLO to TRICK LENNY into signing some papers as a way to try and PROTECT the CHURCH from him.

So one can also understand the reason for your confusion about what's going on between them.

And thanks again for the link to this other website which also looks like a NICE OPTION to use once this place SHUTS DOWN.

The problem of course is how the FIRST SEASON of this SHOW will also have already ENDED by the time these BOARDS are CLOSED.

Which may also mean very little or no discussions take place until the NEXT SEASON begins???

BINGES are FUN.

While watching TYP MARATHON SESSION yesterday, for example, also saw MANY things one had missed while watching it before.

Has anyone else ever depicted scenes of PURGATORY before in FILM???

SUPERNATURAL (the TV SHOW) has shown scenes of it, but can't recall seeing any other FILM VERSIONS or TV SHOW VERSIONS of it before.

Anyhow, hope you like the LEFTOVER VERSION of it that you'll see in S2.

Does this other place also have a PM OPTION where one can discuss films or other TV SHOWS in PRIVATE???

No PM option yet on the other site, but I know the creater (Travis) has been working hard adding more features for all the IMDB refugees. I'm sure eventually they will add a PM option. Until then, we will just have to discuss on the open boards.

PLEASE see what you can do to encourage TRAVIS to put in a PM OPTION.

Otherwise his place may also end up OVER RUN with the SAME kind of TROLLS and their SOCK PUPPET ACCOUNTS as this place has, and is SHUTTING DOWN now because of it.

Otherwise, the only option left may also be to discuss SHOWS PRIVATELY in EMAILS with others, as opposed to discussing it IN a PUBLIC forum, especially if one wants to have any PEACE from being constantly ATTACKED by them.
