Megan miscast

In the novel, Megan is described as being almost irresistibly hot. I don't think bennett is hot. I think she's not thin enough and not pretty enough to be irresistible. She's good looking (not my type), but the Megan character needs to be almost supernaturally beautiful. Whenever I see Jessica Biel in a movie, she's almost too gorgeous to watch. I can't follow the movie. Megan needed to be like that.

In the movie (IMO), bennett is the LEAST attractive of the three main women (Blunt, Ferguson, Bennett), and it's not like she has an enchanting personality or dazzling brain. In the book, she's described as being stunningly gorgeous.

Jessica biel isn't really that pretty either imo . People have different tastes

Nothing you just said about her looks goes farther than your own personal opinion. Everyone has different ideas of what beautiful means. I was going to say more but really why - this is a ridiculous post.

I agree with you about her being miscast after reading the book. I don't necessarily think it's because she isn't beautiful in her own way, but I can see what you are saying because she looks like a lot of other pretty girls and didn't have anything that stood out, really. However, what I really think was lacking with the character was the writing and acting. This girl was killed in the movie for goodness sake and I didn't feel one bit of emotion for her.

Have you ever seen her in "Music & Lyrics" with Hugh Grant? She played the part of a teen singing sensation, and she was naturally gorgeous with a knockout figure. In "The Girl on the Train", she looked just like the director wanted her to look, apparently. She probably could have dazzled everyone with her looks with different makeup, lighting and camera angles, but maybe that's not what the director wanted. I haven't listened to the director's commentary, though, so these are just my thoughts. Even Jessica Biel has to be done up the right way to look dazzling.

Jessica Biel has to put on a bikini to look dazzling. That's all. I'm a body guy. When I say a woman is "hot" I mean her body. Face is an after-thought. I don't think taylor Swift is hot, because she's doesn't have a body. Same with Emma Stone, but Stone is very pretty.

I like athletic figures. No softness. All fitness tone and olympic body fat. But that's just what I like. I never understood the hype about Marilyn Monroe. I never thought she was attractive. If Monroe contacted me on a dating site, I would ignore her, unless she was smart and had a great personality.

I just caught Die Another Day in a ski motel Wow: Halle Berry and Rosamund Pike both look amazing in that movie. To me, the 25 yr old Rosamund Pike is pretty damn hot.

Ok. I changed my avatar. The photo is of me four years ago, when I was 43. I had a different shirtless photo up before, just to dispel comments like yours, but it drew way too much commentary. It seemed to anger people. So, I decided to use a full clothed photo for my avatar.

I have a nice face, but I'm not Jude Law. My body, however, is ripped. I am in almost the same shape as Theroux, but an inch shorter. I too like Muse's "Hysteria."

I'm in better shape than most Hollywood actors.

Haley Bennett IS irresistibly hot. She might be miscast for some other reason (I haven't read the book), but it isn't because of THAT.

If anything, Emily Blunt--who is also very hot--is miscast as a sad-sack drunk.

why did you capitalize "is"? That doesn't make everybody agree with you. That's not how you prove a fact. In reality, many people disagree with your opinion. I think he mouth is too small, her face is to wide, and her behind is too flat.

I think she's gorgeous, but other people have accused her of having a mannish body and a horsey face. So, others share your attitude. I think Emily Blunt, Biel, Evangeline Lilly, Jessica Chastain, Emma Stone, Julia Roberts, and Bridget Monyahan (sp?) are some of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. I think Kate Beckinsale may be the sexiest woman in Hollywood.
