Good stories. Great sound. Not your average cop show.

You can watch up to Episode 4 OnDemand so those of you that didn't like the first can give it a try . If it's not for you that's cool but it's not" boring" and has "entertainment value"
The reason I like this show over any other show on cops is it's got it's own style. It's not just a couple of "super cops" solving homicides at 1 a day by just DNA and crap like that. It actually has a STORYLINE that is moving along by episode 2 and is a fun one.
The music is really good and from what I'm told it's pretty close to Manhattan in the 60s as a cop. The Characters are all very good and there's a lot of names as you get into the episodes. Only show I've ever liked from TNT.
If you don't like it then all is well but after 1 episode I wouldn't start smashing it . Trolls obviously are here but it's entertaining IMO.

Agree. My wife and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I've never been a huge fan of Burns but he acquitted himself very well. It's like The Shield : The first generation. The pep talk or rather belittling that he gave his son in the car had us rolling with laughter. The upcoming previews look good. Probably catch another episode or two this week.

If I can make it thru 8 hours of True Detective, I can surely watch this! ;-)

If you can make it through any of S2 TD episodes; then you can make through anything. Except an Adam Sandler movie of course. There are certain things normal humans aren't meant for.
