I can't get enough of this show

This needs a lot more than 10 episodes. I went over my sister's and introduced her and my brother-n-law to it and they love it as well. We were all fans of the 80s Crime Story so I figure they'd like it.

I'm waiting anxiously for the 5th episode and in the meantime just watch the first four again and again.

Everyone on the show works great together.

I love the show too and totally agree with the "Crime Story" similarities!!! Ed did base this off of his own father being an Irish cop in the 60s and the gangster movies he wrote throughout the 90s and early 2000s that didn't get sold. But he was good friends with Dennis Farina (he was in a couple of Ed's movies) so I feel like it must have had an influence on him too. I loved that show as well and it was one of my parents' favorites (they watch "Public Morals" as well). I'm caught up through ep 4 as well and can't wait for ep 5 and the rest of the season!!!

I'm with you. Dennis Farina was a great actor. Crime Story really let him shine. Del Shannon's song The Runaway (Crime Story version) always plays in my head when I'm watching.

Talking about great music. Mr. Kevin Corrigan - Smitty on the show - is in an awesome band with a guy named Daniel Harnett. They released an album on bandcamp.com called Under the Veil Unseen. If you like classics from the 50s and 60s, you got to check them out. They're so great. I listen to it constantly.
