Charlie Murphy was perfect casting for the pissed off landlord, as was John Witherspoon for the dirty bum. The humor is on-point if you haven't made your mind up before even watching due to cries of blasphemous outrage. This is a Jesus I can actually relate to and admire. The guy featured in the book of Matthew who cast souls into pigs that ran into water to drown? Pass. This show is hilarious, and it's a modernized fictional character based off an outdated, archaic fictional character. If you don't like the show because it hurts your beliefs, tune in to Joel Osteen and leave the urban comedies to fans of urban comedies.
