If the show comes back for a 3rd season I really hope it's like the first season 'cause the second was a total trainwreck. And that's strange you know, it featured Mike Clattenburg and McGregor so it should have been great but it wasn't somehow.
shareI keep reading reviews of S2 being not as good... or even terrible in comparison to S1. I didn't really see it like that. S1 may have been slightly better but we're still learning about the characters, they are still being developed. So the substance of the show was more robust by nature in the first season, as is the case with most shows.
Every show drops off over time, that's why shows eventually end or get cancelled. Some shows drop off faster than others because there is nowhere for the show to go. That may very well be the case here. These things aren't up to me... my personal opinion makes no difference at all. I can only speak for myself and I like the show. I think it still has entertainment value and is funny.
I hope there is a season 3, but honestly, if fans are already becoming bored with it... I don't expect it will be around much longer. It's the nature of the beast and I can accept that.
Read an article from Deadline (first one under "News" on this site") that says McGruder is working on scripts for both season three AND a movie of the show! I know movie adaptations or continuations aren't always great, but it could still be fun (especially if it's a TV movie). Pray to Black Jesus that everything works out.

Yeah I can see where you're coming from. It did end up the scheme of the week type of show. Idk about a movie..it sounds like a tv movie to me which is fine; maybe something like that last holiday special I can see happening. I'm glad it's back though.
