Needed a Flashback of…..

After Ellie killed Riley, they needed to include a flashback of what transpired after that. So much is missing & some important stuff too. It’s obvious that Marlene who never wanted to take Ellie, even with her mother pleading her to, wound up not doing it.

First time Ellie ever heard of Marlene was when Riley mentioned her name to her, so it’s obvious Marlene had gotten rid of Ellie, the question is where did she bring her & why? It would be ironic if Marlene a Firefly was the one responsible for Ellie winding up with FEDRA to begin with. Do you all think she sent the baby down there & someone took care of her?

What I have to guess must have happened is since we know Riley was stationed at the mall by the Fireflies, Marlene probably came looking for her only to find her dead & Ellie still there.
I’m imagining what must have transpired after that is Marlene tried to kill Ellie no doubt, after finding Riley dead by her hand & either she realized who Ellie was or Ellie did some fast talking to explain to her what happened & it wasn’t her fault. Then Marlene would’ve had to figure out if it was bullshit or not & instead of just shooing Ellie, figure out why she hadn’t turned yet. That’s if she cared at that point.

So as you see some very important details were never explained & we’re left to wonder about them now. What do you all think?
