I thought the original Mortal movie as pretty enjoyable. And i thought the Sonic movie that came out last march was good. I think Video Game movies are getting better. But i haven't seen a show based on Video Games that any good. Except for the animated ones.

The first MK did decent (just because it had a LOW budget). The second and the reboot not so good.

Tomb Raider (2018) with a ~50% ratting on rat is no success. Maybe it made some profits but quite low.

This film is kind of a slam dunk - that is, the writing is all there, they just need to replace cgi with actors.
At the same time, you are better off just seeing a game movie, since the remake will probably be worse - it usually is.
They made money but I can’t say I liked MK or RE movies.
shareTomb Raider was decent. Hitman 2007 was decent. I would say Rampage, Silent Hill and Warcraft were ok, a little cheesy but... better than average when it comes to videogame movies. I thought the new MK was a waste of time, but Annihilation was pretty much unwatchable for me. There's some kind of MK miniseries on Youtube that I think is way better, better casting and atmosphere and everything.
