The pilots for the upcoming season must really suck if NBC is reviving this. I have low hopes, the guy behind Do No Harm will be in-charge.

So they're going forward with this after canning it?Would it air this fall?

I think it's because NBC basically had all failures for their new shows this season. They canceled 15 shows so far this year.

Ouch that sounds horrible. At least this looks interesting, I'm glad for the failures, otherwise I wouldn't be watching NBC at all.

You already know what's coming when the female looks at, what I presume to be the scarecrow, and he tells her "I only fight for you". Just more female worship cult shows. Then you have the pre-requisite black witch of course. All these major broadcast TV shows are all about appealing to women and so usually have no realism involved and only this pandering, placating, boring, unrealistic nonsense. Dorothy is again, a hot young broad who is "finding" herself. News flash: when was the last time you met a highly attractive young woman who struggled? You don't. Yet they continue to try to create this identity whereby they face self-made hardships. In order to try to compete with the realism masculinity already has. Attractive women make for boring, so boring, subject matter. Game of Thrones works because no one is safe, a typical "female" isn't the savior and women can and do get their reckonings just like men. That's realistic. In broadcast shows, the women are always brilliant, smarter than everyone else and get their way and are never held accountable.

This show will be a ridiculous attempt at female pandering while the "hot guy" professes his undying love and utter loyalty even as Ms. Dorothy "finds herself" and all the women on the show compete with most outrageous behavior with zero substance.
