A bold new reimagining!

Just like all of the other bold new reimaginings over the last decade or two. Oz isn't meant to be gritty. Here is a bold idea: Give us the story as written by Baum. He also wrote other Oz books. Let's see those given their chance.

I would like to see stories as written by Baum, would need good writers though to pull it off.

I agree.

I don't understand why they - Hollywood - doesn't film the damn books as Baum wrote them.

It's an amazing story.

Happiness must be earned.

Meh, I don't mind re-imaginings if they're good. This just isnt all that good.
