Vincent D'Onofrio fan with high hopes but quit watching.

I didn't like D'Onofrio as the Wizard and the feel of the whole thing was like "The 100" on the CW or something, but I didn't care for it. I didn't expect a kid's Oz but this is way too far the other way for me to be associated with The Wizard of Oz. When it came to the scene of the bodies writhing in the mud I was gone because it reminded me too much of the scene of hell with Robin Williams in "What Dreams May Come" which was a good movie but intense and it was a movie that was over and a couple of hours and not a series that continues on.
This is my opinion so it is not wrong for me, but I doubt if I was the only one who did not like "Emerald City" for whatever reason. I know there are people who don't like chocolate, which I think is crazy, but I didn't like this show--just not to my taste.
