Was it me, or didn't the dog appear dangerously vicious at first, in the back of the police car? Even though it whimpered moments later, I still wouldn't have trusted it.

Why not? Police dogs aren't vicious. They're trained. They wait for commands to do anything. Plus anyone with a heart would love a dog and give it a chance.

I hope this show doesn't skew too bleak and kill off Toto but I won't be surprised if it happens at one point.

Toto treated Dorothy as a criminal first. Then after she wears the police uniform, he thought she is a cop. It is so easy to trick a dog.

It is a police dog. I thought they called the dog Podo or something at first. I was like what the heck lol. The show is okay though not good yet.
