Two Episodes in and I Hooked

Following all the negative comments on here I was sceptical about this but having just watched the first two episodes I really enjoyed it - the cinematography was great and loving the new twist on the Oz theme - not 100% sold on Vincent's Wizard yet but there is still time.

I'm surprised they went with the 'Tip' reveal so early was expecting it later on in the season. I really hope that NBC give this time to grow (I know that is a long shot based on NBC's history).

I'm enjoying it too. After 12 years on IMDB I've come to the conclusion that most people on these boards are pretentious dilettantes who pride themselves on their snarky critiques, when they secretly like the show they are panning. Either that, or the world is full of soulless arse-holes. It's one or the other.

Chthonic gods have set their sights on making me a slave to their ways.

First two episodes?? I just saw the first one (premiere) episode Friday night (10 to 11pm). How were you able to watch the 2nd episode?

EDITED: Oh never mind. I recorded it and watched it later in the evening. Must of been a 2 hr premiere and I didn't realize it when watching it (since I FF through commercials).

I enjoyed the show.

The trailer really turned me off this initially, plus i'm not a fan of the Wizard of Oz. But after watching the first couple of episodes the show isn't too bad.

I enjoyed the premiere overall but to me, his performance was just the worst part. I think that he was badly miscast.

I have a thing for all adaptations of OZ, and I really enjoyed it. My husband, who's usually more into crime than fantasy or sci-fi really liked it, too.
