Protest the closing of the message board

We will lose a great source of background information for movies. That's a real samen!
shareThis is insane, the boards are the place I go to seek explanations or enlightenment on scenes, symbolism in films or just to ask stuff like;
How can the killer and the cop be the same person? Or
What was up with the elephant in the 3rd act?
Rather than eliminate the boards they should be given a higher status, if film makers were to read them they could possibly make their next film better by learning to fill in their plot holes etc. :-)
Oh well - more of the same B.S. as when TV.com became a TV Guide mouthpiece and any decent review or insightful discussion went down the toilet.
Good work IMDB, keep the viewers from exploring cinema through shared experience and just keep those unreadable fake paid for reviews and the 100 other reviews that just spew the same synopsis and surface level opinions. Your now just a list of actors, directors and movie covers, about as interesting as a phone book and provide no information that I can't get from a google entry or a million other sites.
