SPOILER they shouldn't kill them

SPOILER below

I mean the true grand parents. Though it's reasonable that imposters killed them, but I prefer to see a warm ending with a reunion of the family.

Doens't mean that I'm not like dark plot, gotta say I perfer dark movies, but this movie shouldn't have end in this way.

Yeah but given the amount of disturbance in these people is it plausible they were going to keep the real GPs tied up in the basement?

You are kind enough to write "spoiler below" but you actual have a big one in the head line too... cool to edit that away, just saying :)

In a horror movie, I don't think it's a huge spoiler that someone dies.

The thing is though; we as viewers are not sure what this is until the last frames, right? And on top of that it is a movie with pretty much only 4 people in it, so the headline spoils or rather provokes speculations... especially when "they shouldn't kill them" refers to someone off screen.

Listen, I know it is small thing and one who might visit a board discussing the movie should know of the risk as really only few of us respect the "no spoiler" thing. I commented because the OP seem to be one of those few, and then it sort of strikes me as funny that despite his good intentions, he actually spoils on some level is his headline....

So he spoiled that in a horror movie, a horrific thing happens? Hmmmm....

SPOILER ALERT: the sun goes down at night!

But that being said, why should people respect the "no spoilers" thing here? It's a discussion board for a movie. How can a movie be properly discussed if the content isn't discussed? That's the entire point of these boards. Plus, why are people hanging on a discussion board for a movie they haven't seen and then complaining that they were spoiled? See the movie or don't hang out on a board that is intended to discuss the movie, including its content and story. It isn't everyone else's responsibility to make sure you (and I don't mean you personally, more like the royal you) aren't spoiled, ESPECIALLY when you're hanging out on a discussion board for a movie you haven't seen. Why should everyone else have to censor their content to appease those who insist of visiting a board but demand no spoilers?

In a movie of practically four main characters, he informs that at least two were killed. I would say this is above mere sun set.

I guess I agree. One should know the risk when going to such boards.

Discuss away, just inform you may be spoiling and those who wants none can avoid your discussion. Why not?

Plus, why are people hanging on a discussion board for a movie they haven't seen and then complaining that they were spoiled?
My guess is that they seek other information than plot related information.

It is very easy step to add a spoiler warning when plot material are being discussed. And I can see those who goes here to discuss other stuff... I mean, any given tread and I would guess only 1/3 holds spoilers... so why not. It is courteous, and this is not only for plot discussions. Right?

Why should everyone else have to censor their content to appease those who insist of visiting a board but demand no spoilers?
No censor, just a heads up that this tread will have sensitive plot information.

When I watch a movie I often go to imdb to read about trivia or other stuff while the movies is running. I know, it is not showing the movie respect. But I do. And sometimes I wander to the board as well. If I am spoiled it is my fault. But that being said, I appreciate when people warn about it and does not headline the "Darth Vader is his father" moment.

I commented here not because I am a crusader for the No-Spoilers order, but because the OP seem to be one of the few who respect spoiler warnings, and then it sort of strikes me as funny that despite his good intentions, he actually spoils on some level is his headline.

That is all.

I totally agree with you. This isn't a review section, it's a forum. When are people going to get the fact that if you don't want a movie spoiled then STAY OUT IF THE FORUM! Even I know not to touch this section until I've seen the movie or if I never plan to watch it.

It's seriously annoying with all these spoiler warning police. UMDB should should make a warning that the forums might contain spoilers so people will stop b!tching that they decided to read deep into the comment section of about a movie they intent to watch and, oh no! Someone mentioned a plot point!

Review section is for pre-movie. Triva, faq and forums for post-movie. Unless this is your first time on imdb then you should know better.

I've been 14 year on IMDB and I always checked the message boards if I was curious to see if I'm looking at a hidden gem, perhaps. Usually I just want to see if people liked it or not, by messages, not ratings.
Sure the same can the reviews do, but it rarely happens that I get spoiled through the message boards first. Usually I can sense which thread will give me spoilers and which not, but what I can't sense, I trust in the fellow IMDB users to not spoil things in the titles... but this thread was on front page that's how I got spoiled, although it really doesn't matter now since this movie was a rather sheetty one.

You shouldn't be here if you haven't seen the movie.
