Should I give this a try if mostly I don't like kids?

Do like Unbreakable and The Village, enjoy The Happening despite Wahlberg, don't care all that much for 6th Sense and Signs (despite Mr Phoenix) and never bothered with Lady and the Will Smith movie.

Kids, especially in films with a horror theme, are mostly annoying, as in boring, with kids being a taboo and off-limits.

So can you make it through The Visit if you cannot stand kids?

I suspect you'd be in a better position than those who adore them. They aren't exactly treated well and the kids in question aren't bratty at all anyway.
