Wondering what LaSalle calls Pride King?

I wanna say it was mentioned in a prior show, that he was made an honorary King of one of the Crewes there in New Orleans because of something he did for them.

(A Crewe has a relationship with Mardi Gras. Each float in each parade has been built by a different Crewe. They are like families, though they're not always related. Getting into one is tough.)

Thanks for the info. I should have thought about the association between King and Mardi Gras Crewes. It sound most likely.

It's Krewe, with a K. And it's not that each float is built by a different Krewe. Each entire parade is a Krewe.

I found this explained in an episode when the NO team was introduced...
LaSalle explains to Brody how Pride got the name King: When Pride first opened up the New Orleans NCIS office he made a big drug bust and a local crew made him an honorary member and named him King.
