Golden Globe-nominated actress and model Alba raised an additional $100 million in August for the eco-friendly baby and household product company she co-founded in 2011. Forbes put Alba, 34, on the cover in May. Her 20% stake boosts her net worth to $340 million and values the company at $1.7 billion. She joins Forbes’ list of America’s richest self-made women, ahead of Beyoncé ($250 million) and YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki ($300 million).
