Would Disney ever do a Princess movie from India?
Like, Hindu India
I wonder where hindus are on the over sensitive SJW scale generally?
My favorite piece of progressive nonsense is still the old "Maddie is a slave name omg!" from back 2008/2009. The Maui obesity race shaming "controversy" and "this is showing cops in too good a light" outrages don't really quite measure up in lunacy...
Well, actually, looking how popular the recent Jungle Book live action movie was in India, I'd guess they are a bit more laid back over there, and all the outrage would come from gender studies majors in western countries. Again.
I do remember reading a comment on the zootopia board that the movie showed cops in too good of a light. On the live action jungle book board a SJW asked why people in India were spending money on a movie based on a colonizers book.
shareI think you are a young Indian boy way too obsessed with Disney girls that are caricatures.
You have posts describing their bodies and really buy into the mythology. You are definitely too obsessed with Moana and Pocahontas.
You attack people all over the Disney boards. These aren't anime made for your sexual pleasure.
Go cook some handvo or find another hobby. I really hope you are in your country and not ours. If not, Trump, will find you.
You give me the creeps.
This wouldn't be a bad idea...
Indian princess
Latina princess
Russian princess
Any other possibilities?
I say go back to East Asia.
They aren't going to start huge SJW whine fests about cultural appropration or similar made up nonsense, and there's likely a wealth or original storytelling that could be used instead of co-opting western fairy tales.
China is good always, but Japan and South Korea have proven to be markets with great potential. I would like to see something Korean (or if not real world Korean, then a mythological equivalent) personally.
Lmao
I'm an American and a Trump supporter.... Because I posted 1 thread about Pocahontas I am obsessed? Thanks for the laugh.
They've could've, despite that they're obviously detracting themselves from their Princess brand. Despite that they've already made The Jungle Book, they've never had a movie which truly embraces Indian culture and costumes. And The Jungle Book does it barely.
