I thought James Franco's voice was a little off but overall the trailer got me excited. Going through reddit, some people claiming to have seen test screenings, say that the movie is quite good and the RT score seems to support it.
What did you think about the trailer?
Well, Dave Franco's make-up job as "Mark" doesn't look that convincing... Other than that it looked good. I'm excited to see the movie.
shareIt looks like absolute crap. Franco does not look or sound like Wiseau. Also, that scene was WAY funnier in the movie and the book. Are they purposely trying to make an even worse movie than The Room?
shareI think so. Franco is terribly miscast, it seems. As soon as I head that Franco and Seth Rogan were in it, I immediately thought "oh, great! It's going to be 'Cheech and Chong did naaaaahhhhht heet her'". The trailer is pretty funny, but probably would have been better with a more semi-serious approach. Never Judge a movie by it's trailer though, I guess.
