I remeber to have seen the first couple of episodes but I wasn't hooked enough to continue. Should I give it another chance despite the "horrible" finale?
shareabsolutely. it starts slow but then it will suck you in. It is really well written and acted! dAn don't listen to others concerning the finale. Watch it on your own.

That's what I did. I enjoyed the first season, it's dark, gritty and well-paced. Paul Benjamin Mendelsohn hit it out of the park.
