Is this worth to watch?

Seems pretty boring. Just finished Stranger Things. Trying to decide between re watching that, watching Sherlock for the first time, or this. I already watch a lot of shows and this one has many episodes... So is it worth it? Which one should I do?

Absolutely. Best show on Netflix for me. Each season is a slow burn and takes some patience but it's so worth it. Great characters great setting and fantastic acting

The poster above says it all. And I'd watch this a hundred times more before watching again the horribly miscasted Stranger Things. Sherlock is another excellent show.

Highly recommend!

I find it boring as well. I hate the loser brother. I barely got past the first episode. Quit after a few minutes of the second. I liked Stranger Things.

All four responses here are accurate. The truth is I found the first couple of episodes boring and difficult to get through. The only reason I stuck with it was because my mom and sister highly recommended it and I trust their opinions. While season one has a painfully slow start, things really start picking up as you count down to the finale. Season 2 is much faster paced and absolutely wonderful as things hit the fan so to speak. Highly recommend watching! The storyline is very unique, the characters are so real and well written (no one is good or bad, they have their motives just like real people), and the acting is top-notch. The cast as a whole really makes these characters come to life in a way that is so rarely authentic. Give it a shot and forgive the slow start, you won't regret it! :)

the first season is pretty boring. the writing is good tho and eventually leads to a pretty intense and focused second season. you can save a lot time by fast forwarding the flash blacks as the story is eventually told at the end. you can also fast forward all the conversations with the father - he will put you to sleep. he does say some key things, but those things will be reiterated by other characters later on.

i recommend it for the second season. if the first season is too boring, i recommend forwarding through a lot of the first 7 episodes. you can easily piece together what happened in the later episodes.

Personally, I thought Season #1 was really good, but I didn't care much for Season #2. Season 2 was mostly just tying up loose ends from the first season. It dragged on the entire season just dealing with backstory, and then it ended fairly abruptly with several unresolved issues - so it's not very satisfying because you would have to watch a whole additional season #3 to figure out how things will play out. With season #1, it's more conclusive because this was more successful than they anticipated and season 1 was more self contained because they didn't expect to make more seasons initially.
