The Det tells the Ealy character that she know he was on the roof because he couldnt have seen the body from there as it landed to close to the base of the building- so he ran down the stairs

IN a promo for the next week it shows him looking over the top down to the pavement and seeing the body . Can anyone explain this / Thanks

I think she said she knew he was on the roof because the only way he could have known his wife was on the pavement was to have seen it from the roof. He couldn't have seen it from the windows.
