Michael was wonderful in conveying the emotion. However, I didn't get the time line of her death to her funeral. Autopsies take a while.
I wish they'd make the cop (Lewis) more likeable. She should follow the evidence. And they need to follow crime scene protocol. Kate's office would have been off limits as well as the building.
My first thought is the dad did it. We will see how it plays out!
When they did the flashback of their entrance at the party, I called Kate fooling around on Neil (sp?): there was something in their exchange of looks and the curt way he addressed her. And then when she told Eric she was pregnant, I knew for sure it wouldn't be his, even if it doesn't turn out to be the best friend's baby. (Did they reveal this at the end of the autopsy visit? My reception went glitchy at that point and it jumped right to the commercials, so I missed the particulars.) I'm leaning toward the sister right now, myself.
I didn't necessarily mean she had other affairs, I was just leaving open the possibility that I had incorrectly guessed the lover's identity in thinking it was Neil.
My thoughts exactly. The way the camera showed his reaction in the very beginning I got suspicious then I saw how they said hello very awkwardly. Although they did touch on the relationship with Neil and Kate when Eric was saying he knows Neil isn't a fan of Kate and they felt weird around each other.
I like Ealy so far, but it remains to be seen if he'll carry Season 2 the way that Phillippe did Season 1. Also, the jury is still out on the rest of the family. I recall liking everyone in Ben Crawford's family from jump, and that includes Dave. I'm not feeling the protagonist's family in Season 2 yet.
