I made this thread instead of responding separately to the many messages i got.
As you probably already know,it aired in some countries and i watched it a few weeks ago.
Can you describe the ending and what happens with a key characters - dad, Patrick, his wife, Neal and of course Eric? And do we get the resolving of Andrea's partner murder?

Amanda asks Eric to raise her unborn child while she is awaiting her conviction and it's implied that he probably will ultimately,especially since Neill(the baby's father) won't be up to the task. He takes over the company and calls up Kate's son in the end to hang out. It's also implied that Patrick will get a few years of jail,he'll go on separate ways with his wife(she disappears from the last few episodes completely) and stop drinking.
The father's relationship is terminally damaged with his children after they find out he is a bigamist and he'll probably suffer the consequences of it (both legally and morally).
The Cornell's partner's murder subplot isn't resolved but the show ends with a cliffhanger involving her and her daughter which i don't know how will turn out if there will ever be a 3rd season(i honestly doubt it).
Who is the father's other wife? This is the first I've heard of it (although it explains his long absences). Is Carly his daughter?

It's actually his first wife, and this fact will affect the ownership of their company as he founded it with his "second"(not legitimate) wife's money.
They have a son (who will be the blackmailer the father is covering for),and older half-brother.
His long absences are due to the woman's illness too (if i remember correctly,there is an earlier episode where they find some prescription drugs and think he's dying - well they will belong to her actually).
Patrick told Eric he is getting a divorce.

Did Amanda kill Kate? I felt "Mandy" was acting strange the very first episode and after we learned about her conceiving problem, I thought maybe that's why she could be the one that killed Kate - because Kate was pregnant.

Yes. In the very last episode they'll reunite. It was pretty obvious where he'll find her once the subplot with Patrick and his wife running a prostitution ring.
Where are you currently with the season where you're watching?
There is a two-hour episode next Sunday night, so we've seen everything up to then. The brother was arrested and Melanie has skipped town.
Is Carly relevant to the story at all?

Could you remind me who is Carly (the other call-girl who was at the party with the cop's daughter maybe)? Not really from what i remember,no (if you mean the murder).

She's pretty drunk at the party and goes totally nuts for a few moments when she finds out on the rooftop Kate is pregnant (without even trying like she did so hard with her husband) and commits a complete act of madness.
shareLet me get this straight...Amanda kills Kate because Kate is pregnant and she can't get pregnant?! As in, she's jealous of her best friend's/her brother's baby?!! What the hell....and then, she gets pregnant with Neill?! This just doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Could you please explain in more detail, if you have the time? :)

Disappointing and lame writing if you ask me but that's pretty much it in a nutshell.
She finds out she's pregnant in the end only after she confesses and is arrested.
