To watch or not to watch?

I hate to say it, but I couldn't care less who killed Kate. This season has been a huge bore with every reveal being a implausible plot twist. I love intrigue in a story, but there are too many people with too many secrets and lies. I've watched every episode up to this point, but wonder if I wouldn't be happier watching DS9 on Heroes & Icons. The Dominion war, now that was entertaining TV!

To those who have read the spoilers and know how this season ends, without revealing anything, is it worth watching tonight?

Honestly if you've watched every episode so far, why would you give up now? You might as well watch the finale. It seems silly to give up now. I know who the killer is and why and it's not exactly the most creative twist. A lot of people predicted it, but then again so was the first season. I knew it was Abby from pretty much the 3rd episode on. I actually found this season's killer to be less predictable only because there are so many more suspects. It could be the father, sister, the detective's missing daughter, the secretary etc,..

I haven't found this season to be boring. I quite liked it. There were pros and cons. I agree that there were just too many secrets and lies, especially in just one family. It was too melodramatic and it really called for suspension of disbelief. But I also really liked seeing more of Cornell's back story and I really like the addition of her partner (I really miss Lie to Me). If there is a season 3, I hope he comes back. In season 1 we only really saw Cornell interacting with the suspects and that was pretty much it, so I'm hoping by having a partner we'll see her loosen up a bit.

Overall I thought the pros have outweighed the cons. Case wise, the first season was more realistic and made more sense, but as far as character developement goes this season was a step up. You can't have a series continue with only one constant main character and not provide some insight or back story as to why they are the way they are or else they might as well just made her a robot or have a new detective every season too.

It's really up in the air as to whether there will be another season, but I hope they give it another shot and learn from their mistakes, less melodrama, more suspence, and keep up the character development :)

Maybe because you haven't found this season boring, that's why you don't understand (and think it's "silly" to give up now) why I don't want to waste more time on this season.

Then why come on here and ask?

You asked, I gave you an answer. If you don't wanna watch it, then don't. It's not gonna hurt my feelings. There's been 20 episodes now, and you've watched 18..what's another 2 hours? It's obviously kept you interested so far, but it's your life, do whatever you want.

I'm not going to repost what I said in my OP. And as for your answer, I guess you can say I was looking for a more unbiased answer. There have been 8 episodes, can you not count?!?! And it hasn't kept me interested, again, as I stated in my OP, I found the last few episodes quite boring. And, of course, I'm going to do whatever I want. Never said I wasn't.

I really miss that show :( It was a pleasant surprise seeing Brendan Hines pop up on S&L. I almost didn't recognize him at first. I hope he comes back for season 3 if by a miracle it gets renewed. Only problem with seeing him in this show is that it made my Lie to Me feels rush back full force lol

I know! And I knew I recognized him, but I wasn't able to place him I read your post. Ironically, this morning I read an interview with Tim Roth. I loved that show as well! Sigh.
