I hope they cancel it because it went from interesting mystery (season 1) to ridiculously bloated soap opera (season 2).

Looking at the ratings this season got, I highly highly doubt ABC will bring it back.

I agree with you though, S2 was a ridiculous contrived mess.

Exactly what i was gonna say. It was good up until the end. The motive for killing Kate just not good. The only reason I hope there's a season 3 is to see who shot Cornell.

The thing wrong with this season is, nothing about Patrick's scheming, nothing about his wife's whorehouse, nothing about the father's bigamy and other kid, or Eric's past troubles, or Kate's son she gave for adoption, meant a hill of beans.

It all came out, the entire season was a bunch of red herrings. The sister killed Kate in a rage of jealousy over her being pregnant. That's it. Everything else in the season could have been scrapped, everyone's lives were turned upside down & exposed, but it had nothing to do with Kate's death.
