Just when it couldn't get any...

Just when I thought this stupidity couldn't get any worse. I really was done at the LAN cable, the airliner and the Ferrari...the Super Fun Guy balloon saves the city from the nuclear reactor at the film company. I actually think my local blockbuster used a reactor to power their DVD rewinders.

This show is a direct slap in the face to "Firefly" fans. We only got 12 episodes and this clap trap is well on its way to a fourth season. This is Hollywood wiping our noses in this fact.

Fiery the angels fell, deep thunder rolled around their shores, burning with the fires of Orc

How is this show a direct slap in the face to Firefly fans? I never watched Firefly and I gather from posts that I have read that the science was better. However, this is a different TV era.

The viewing audience was not nearly as fractured as it is nowadays. But Firefly wasn't winning its' time slot, and I doubt it improved significantly if at all on the ratings of its predecessors, where Scorpion has provided CBS with better ratings than what they were getting.

The true beef should be with Fox and not with a show that had no direct effect on a something that aired 14 years ago.

There is a different tolerance for lower total number of viewers in this media era than in the past as cable TV used to be littered with mostly reruns and certainly not the amount of first-run scripted shows that is binge worthy as is the current landscape.

There is also streaming now and increased delayed viewing which many have argued that the total viewership of programs aren't being completely captured. No telling how many more loyal viewers that Scorpion actually has. But most importantly Scorpion has delivered on the almighty 18-49 demo for its' time slot.

We (firefly fans) got a movie, which is a LOT more than other cancelled shows get. Yes, Firefly was cancelled & I was devastated, but that was 14 years ago. Stop living in the past.
