I have never seen this show or have I heard of it before last night when I read the sypnosis for it.
Nuclear submarine hacked and hijacked... cool! I'll watch it.
Well, I couldn't get past the poor writing in the pre-credit sequence.
2 fighter jets hacked and hijacked remotely and out of control and everyone on the supposedly BEST hacker team the US Gov't has are bickering like children with each other over their dating habits and relationship.
Then there is the acting.
None of them can act especially the Asian actress. Her short dialogue scene before the opening credit where she was talking to the other guy about her marriage, her lack of acting skills made me clinge.
I turned it off. I never found out what happened to the fighter jets nor do I care.
This is definitely a show that, despite having geniuses, you have to watch without your brain in the same room. It is ridiculous, and most of the complaints about how things don't work I'd agree with, but it's just so ludicrous that it's entertaining. The season 2 premiere would probably make you explode. But I dunno, I can't see getting angry over a show like this. I will say that I watched the premiere on demand and sort of in the background as I did laundry. I WILL agree with you about the truly pointless relationship stuff (you don't know the half of it btw.) But yeah, it's entertaining enough, but it takes a back seat to MNF, especially getting to see the New York Vagiants get beat, lol.
As for the Asian, her character is supposed to be an emotionless stone inside a ten layer shell.
