I never bought her as Galadriel, supposedly the most beautiful elf in existence. Don't get me wrong I think she's attractive and probably stunning in person but not the most beautiful.
Now as Hela, she is EXTREMELY sexy and looks the best I've ever seen her.
She look gorgeous in this movie. Hell, she was sexier looking than most of the female MCU heroes.
shareBlanchette has always impressed me, in that she's not at all beautiful, but she can play beautiful if she needs to! Unless, of course, she's given as unflattering a hairstyle as she was given in the LOTR movies.
I loved her in this stupid movie, I mean I love the movie as a whole, but she was terrific. I think she had a complete blast with this role, she skirted the edge of camp but not close enough to the edge that she failed to be scary when she needed to. When the final battle started in the last act she was totally serious, walking up to Thor to begin the fight with this look on her face like "I will kill you and I'll be weirdly thrilled if I die in the process", and going down in a blaze of fury and glory. Not her usual sort of finely tuned drama, but damn, here she kicked ass! Bitch has RANGE as an actor!
I agree. I remember thinking she had been miscast in LOTR but enjoyed her performance in Ragnarok. I don’t find her especially atteactive.
