The best MCU film?

I've never been into these modern MCU films. They're certainly better than the modern DCU films, but most of the MCU is just average vanilla standard action fluff to me. Not awful, but nothing revolutionary or worth billions of fans foaming at the mouths over. Truthfully, the only MCU film I think is flat out garbage is Age Of Ultron, and Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 are certainly down there...

...but this is one of the MCU films I truly think is excellent. It's funny, it's interesting, it's unique, it's got great action, it's quickly paced, it's awesome.

My main issue with the MCU is that they have these really inconsistent tonal contrasts: minute it's a sitcom with quirky banter, and the next it's a serious brooding drama. The two moods really don't fit at all IMO. Check Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy for how it should be done; a FUSION of comedy and drama, where some moments may be more silly or serious than others, but the overall feeling of campiness never leaves even in the saddest moments, not this back and forth mood switch thing the MCU films do. Let's face it; comic books are silly. Dudes in tight spandex shouting one-liners and kicking eachother around a city is silly. The word 'comic' is literally a synonym for 'funny'. Why do these films need to be so melancholy and dramatic? They should be quick, fun, and action-packed, not these three hour long sweeping epics.

Thor Ragnarok is really the only MCU film to truly capture this consistent fusion feeling. Even some of the other MCU movies that I do really like, such as Iron Man and Spider-Man Homecoming, don't do it as well as Thor Ragnarok does.

Also, the comedy in this movie is actually funny, whereas the comedy in most MCU films are annoying improv awkward stutter conversations where the background music stops and characters just sorta stumble around like. I've never understood why that shit gets the audiences laughing so hard, it's literally the easiest style of comedy out there. Just put two people in a room with no script. Ragnarok has actual jokes that are actually funny. Thor is actually a funny, witty character. Iron Man punching Hulk and going "uh oh!" isn't a joke. Thor says quips that are genuinely hilarious.

I'm sure I just enraged alot of nerds so Imma skidaddle...

I'm glad you enjoyed it. For me, this was the worst of the 22 MCU films because of the extremely overdone comedy.

It was a trend in the 90s for jewish people to say that heroic figures inspire Nazism. It's a weird argument because it's obvious that a character like Superman, Captain America, etc would oppress people or kill mass numbers over anything. But, that jewish idea hit movies hard in the 70s and comics in the 90s. I recall one of my favorite writers/artists saying he felt guilty for being involved in comics.

Anyway, in the 70s jewish filmmakers made westerns, where the cowboys were dirty creeps, thus defeating previous decades showing them to be heroes. Films like Superman were largely comedies or would have heavy comedy elements. That made the superhero into a campy figure and not a role model.

Marvel is doing the same thing and believe it's due to this cultural weirdness. They can't have Thor ect be awesome because it overshadows the mythology they believe in.

Whatever the case, the tonal shift in these films is very weird. It's almost as they were made by a "bipolar" or mentally disorganized person.

I am literally discussing a well known topic about heroic figures.

I'm sure if you google superheroes and fascism you will find material. The artist I mentioned was John Byrne.

Your response is that of the modern uneducated person who is dumb, but can work a computer.
