I'm Calling It, Sam Neil Is Adam Warlock

That could easily be the end credit,

Zoom into the soul gem and inside we see Adam Warlock realizing something is happening. Perhaps Hela giving the Soul Stone to Thanos.

And I'll even go so far as to say that Adam will be equivalent to other Elders of the Universe like the Collector, Ego, and Grandmaster. Notice these are all played by fairly famous stars of 20 years ago, who are now much older.

I heard he'd be Surtur, but I like this idea better.

07/08/06... 786... the sentinel of Allah has arrived.

reply

He'd have the voice for it but come on, he's like 70.

The villainy you teach me I will execute-and it shall go hard but I will better the instruction.

So are Jeff Goldblum and Kurt Russell,

But they are playing character who are supposed to be older and wise. And all I'm saying is Adam Warlock could be portrayed in such a way, and not as an active hero.

Don't forget that Adam can always be reborn and made younger.

reply

No they are going to keep Warlock as a fit guy.

Neil is likely just a voice for a villain, also Warlock would mean he has to appear in 2 more films. I don't believe Neil wants to do all that.

reply

Where did you find out they were going to keep Warlock as a fit guy? They haven't said that at all.

And they don't have to keep Neil either, because they don't have to keep Warlock old. Warlock can be reborn, remember?

Why not start with an older wiser version of him, who can see what is happening. Perhaps can't physically help but is told to have been powerful in his youth, who then dies and is reborn as a younger stronger version of himself.

Both of your concerns are not really concerns.

reply

Just doesn't make sense to go with old Warlock, they would do Magus story before an old Warlock.

reply

It makes perfect sense. A wise ancient character who has tales of epic cosmic battles, who then is reborn as a new physically strong version of himself.

Once you know that he can be reborn, you realize you can meet the character at any age of his current version.

What you might not realize here is that by doing this, you can get the sense that he is extremely ancient and wise, and then know that about him when he goes to a younger form. Think of it as a tease, where he is told to have once been a powerful warrior, and then to see him reborn with those powers at the end, and you know it's going to get real.

What doesn't make sense? It's actually a quite brilliant way to develop him.

Ithink the object that hits the Collector is the stone hidden.
