Whom Ravi's been mimicing in the noir episode 5x10?

While Ravi has been examining corpse of Bunny La Fonda he started to narrate in a deep "noir" voice something like "It was a hard rain that night. The kind that turns streets into rivers" before he was interrupted by Martin. Was he mimicing some particular person|character?
