im surprised people think so highly of this film

The civil war seemed so forced. Quick cheap way to get them at odds.

The war itself was so lame. One battle where it was obvious from the start that nobody wanted to really hurt anyone else so they are basically sparring. It was cool to see Spiderman in action though.

The bad guy was a huge let down. So many holes in his plan. For starters... there was no way of expecting them of being able to capture the Winter Soldier instead of killing him.

I liked this movie because of the characters and action. Someone described this film as character driven rather than plot driven and I think that is true. There is a lot of emotion in this movie. The relationships between the characters are believable and important to the film. The battle in the airport is great because the character care about each other. They don't want to hurt each other, but they are each standing in the other's way and that means they have to fight.

I love the relationship between Captain America and Bucky. I love the relationship between Captain America and Natasha.

The Sokovia accords is Marvel's way of taking a realistic look at how governments would react to the destruction left behind when superheroes fight supervillains.

The action in the film is excellent. I had a lot of fun watching the fights and that chase with Bucy, Black Panther and Captain America.

I was a bit disappointed with the villain though. He was a bit cliche.

I'm surprised that people are surprised when other people have different opinions. How many millions of people saw this film? The fact that a decent number (i.e. enough to post on these boards) liked it shouldn't surprise anyone.

Reading my signature constitutes admission that I am correct. (Too late)
