Dark Fantasy R rated?

Is there any supernatural TV show that is R rated? Bloody,scary and not melodramatic like ''Supernatural''. I get that nowadays movies and TV shows are PG-13 to increase audience but then again that same ''restriction'' kills creativity in my opinion.

Some heroes are more likable to children like : Captain America,Iron Man,Spider man and that's cool, but when you have John Constantine who is demonologist and master of the occult it is imperative to go with darker tone, wouldn't you agree?

For example DC movies are bit too dark for their purposes while Marvel uses the same formula over and over again, I mean it is enjoyable but nothing NEW. I think that John Constantine, if interpreted correctly with dark tone and bitter humor, can have artistic value.

That said it is unclear to me why don't producers just read what do fans want and do it. I mean if you (producers) indulge your customers (us) everyone will be happy.They should really be more active on social medias because that is where their targets hang out.

There is no 'R' rating for U.S. television. It goes like this:
- TV-Y
- TV-Y7
- TV-G
- TV-PG
- TV-14
- TV-MA

The content rating for a typical episode of Constantine would be TV-14. The upcoming Justice League Dark animated movie received an 'R' rating. If you want anything much darker for television, you'll have to look to cable and the web.

I think Constantine feels more like a TV-MA show considering the dark material that's in the comics.

I would love to see a dark British gothic horror version of Constantine like Penny Dreadful. Think it's more likely to come justice in the UK or with HBO/Netflix in US.
