I agree it felt like the whole season was wasted

Season 1 was better overall. The acting was more uniformly superb. In season 2, it was really the adult actors who stood out. I thought the teen actors weren't very good overall in Season 2.

I thought the two main teen actor of the season was good. the rest merely passable imo. I didn't like the teen actors in the first season.
