No... not at all. His mother was the idiot who accused the dad of maybe molesting him and 'turning' him gay. She thought the father must have done something to make Eric gay, because she's a homophobic moron who can't accept that homosexuality isn't a choice.
Eric's dad was just being a good father by telling him that he would always be there for him. Doesn't mean he molested his son.
