Was Eric in love with Kevin?
I noticed that during the Coach's speech every time he said that "we must love one another" the camera was on Kevin and you could see Eric in the background turn to look at Kevin. It happened twice.

Kevin [to me] showed his true nature during the confrontation scene when Eric pointed out the part he played throughout this whole ordeal. His only concern was that Eric kept quiet about his involvement quiet.
i think we r going to watch the team's solidarity crumble this week. the person to blame is Kevin.
I don't know why people keep brining that scene up. Eric revealed nothing we didn't already know, that Kevin hosted a was responsible for the party, how should he have reacted? All I got from the scene was ERic trying to pin Taylor getting his azz kicked on Kevin. The drinking and girls at the party is of no concern of Eric, that is not why the party was brought into light, it was Taylor saying Eric raped him. Kevin's involvement with the party is no secret.

Except we was wrong about that because Kevin did ask his mother to help Eric because he said Eric shouldn't take the blame because he (Kevin) threw the party. Eric not being backed up by Kevin was due to his parents not agreeing to help, not because he didn't care about Kevin.

Kevin explained his reaction to the news, and it was he was upset that his friend felt he couldn't tell him he was gay, which is why he once again stood up for Eric to get the team to stop focusing on Eric being gay because in his eyes Eric was still Eric regardless.
His only concern was that Eric kept quiet about his involvement quiet.
Eric needs to be less concerned with Kevin's speculative involvement and be more concerned with his direct involvement in Taylor getting jumped. It was just another pass the blame on Kevin situation. Wes, the other boys and Eric are responsible for what happened to Taylor, not Kevin.

This dance is really getting old,and I said it before, as this show is very provocative it really brings out people's true nature. They may as well arrest Kevin for Wes's murder and for Eric's possible rape of Taylor, and while there at it, instead of charging Becca for drug distribution, they should charge Kevin,
shareI'm hoping that people just want to see more out of Kevin and not purposely pass alot of blame on him just for the hell of it. I feel Kevin's character is alot like the principal in the public school, they are both there but you barely see anything special about them. To me they are both under used. So when I make speculations that Kevin knows more than he's saying or he's hiding something or covering for someone, Im doing that because I feel his character needs more layers. I'd like to see more out of him rather his character does good or bad. From the previews it looks like he confronts the other team mates about something because he seems to be fighting one of them. And i read the episode preview for the next two episode on rotten tomato and it said ..leaked information could hurt Kevin and Becca. So hopefully we get to see more out of him because to me he's just there in the background.
shareI don't see much similarities between the two as Leslie has been shown to have no care about anyone.From the very start her intentions were to cover and mislead people and flat out lie. No matter what she was told he wanted to spin the story as something that never happened and didn't even display one bit of sympathy for the supposed rape victim. Kevin was shown to have concern for his friend by asking his parents to help Eric out because he felt that, because he threw the party that they should also help him. We see nothing of the sort from Leslie. We knew about the alcohol and the girls, nothing new. HE seems to be a player with good the ladies, and no not in a good way. I don't particularly like him because he seems rather stupid , so unless there is more to be told about Kevin, I'm holding my judgements to the end. Unlike several people on here, and one in particular who seems somewhat bizarrely hopeful for Kevin to be gay and a rapist, I am viewing the situation very fiairly. I simply think he doesn't want to be charged with alcohol to minors and bringing girls there for the traditional practices, and if he is punished, so be it. As far as Taylor's assault by the basketball team, I would like to see them bring that story to the authorities of him making speech that his teammates took as instructions.

That is how I read it. Kevin from the beginning has tried to keep his hands clean and deflect guilt, just like Leslie.
Why bring the girl home when he knows that mother doesn't like her?
It was a show.

To align Val on his side to keep her mouth closed.
Why ask his parents to help Eric?
Because helping Eric will assure that Eric will keep his mouth shut.
Leslie and Kevin are mirrors of each other and when Leslie tells the coach that they hired her because she was a POLITICIAN... so is Eric.
So in a big game he let's Eric take the winning shot. The whole school saw Kevin be magnanimous ... "What a guy!!" then that night he plots the most horrible rape. POLITICIAN
Wes was upset for the same reason that the coach was upset. Both of them finally realised that they had been manipulated by Leslie and Kevin to do horrible things to others. Coach is basically told the newspaper reporter that he didn't care that Taylor's mom's medical records were leaked on line. Now that his daughter is also implicated it looks like he alone set up the cover up and Leslie had nothing at all to do with it.
Same thing with although we haven't seen what actually happened we can surmised based on Leslie's actions. I don't think that Kevin raped Taylor but watched Wes and the others. Then covered himself be publicly being with Val. The reason Wes was so keen on taking Kevin's not so subtle hints about beating up Taylor is because he also knows that it is in best interest to keep Taylor's mouth shut. But now it looks like it was all Wes's idea when it was Kevin who manipulated everyone to "be fun". share

Possible involvement in what? Eric claims to not know what happened to Taylor after he left him and walked in on him when the pictures were being taken and took him home. At this point with him confronting Kevin about the party itself if Eric had any dirt on Kevin other than what we all know about the alcohol and drugs he most certainly would have mentioned it then.

You need to quit looking at everything as black and white. There are many levels of grey to everything that has happened, and several people have responsibility in what has happened. They ALL need to be held responsible for what they have done, including Kevin!! share
