Season 1 well written, beautifully executed but season 2...

I couldn't make it past a few minutes into episode 2. Maybe it's because I have 2 teenage boys and I can't handle the whole male rape thing but it just wasn't as captivating. Here's to hoping season 3 is much better.

We all enjoy the madness 'cuz we know we're gonna fade away

what do you mean you can't handle the male rape thing?

Season 2 was miles ahead of season 1 imho... every episode was outstanding and seeing the evil within school boards and how they will do anything to cover up crimes just to keep up their appearance is absolutely disgusting. Also the fact that a majority of the plot revolved around male rape, a very important topic that does happen yet no one talks about it, was perfect for this type of show.

I agree with everything you said, although I thought Felicity Huffman's acting and character were a little too over the top. I wish she had been a little more realistic, enough to least made me think she could be one of the "good guys" for more than her first scene. I wrote her off as a caricature from the very beginning. No element of surprise or anything to keep me interested in her at all. I just wished any scene about her would be over quickly.
