I started watching when the second season started.

Now both seasons are on Netflix!!! Yay I can see the first season now!

The format of this show is very similar to a lot of Brit dramas. Netflix carries a lot of Brit shows. Check out "Broadchurch", "Five Days", "The Fall" and others. A Brit "series" (series is the term they use for season) is usually 5 to 10 episodes, and often functions like what we call a mini-series. Often they are self-contained one run series, but some do have a second series.
