Is it just me or is this a lot like New Amsterdam ?

I like this show but it's really similar to a show from a few years back called New Amsterdam,what say you all.

Haven't watched New Amsterdam but some of the storylines are seemingly all too familiar

Corpse in the rock club wall, linked to drugs - Bones did one episode with similar story

Fountain of Youth - Elementary did a similar storyline

Man in the Killer Suit - An early episode of Castle springs to mind
